Why Should You Hire A Retirement Life Coach?
Reading through comments, people give a lot of reasons not to hire a life coach for retirement. How Long Will You Live?
When our grandparents retired, if they made it do that age, they sold the business, sold the farm, or passed it on to one or more of their kids. Now when we retire at age 65 or so, we can have another 20 years! I don't know about you, but that is a long time to sit around and relax! But what can you do? Sure, a Wallmart Greeter is always a job you can try, but that's not for everyone!
Being Fit And Active!
A lot of the baby boomers were born before the fitness boom really started so we weren't getting a lot of physical activity in. Plus, we were born during the boom for highly-processed foods and fast-food restaurants. This led to a lot of weight issues and other health issues. I'm a great example of this; I have some weight to lose and running a mile in under 12-minutes is really tough!
As a personal trainer, I read a lot about the problems of older people and their health. There are some unique issues with training the aging adults. Our balance isn't as good as it once way and our flexibility had disappeared. Plus, our joints are wearing out at an alarming rate!
